It has been some time since we announced the availability of the new queues
that are dedicated for short running jobs, we hope this serves as a reminder
of the queues and their effective usage on the supercomputing cluster.
As announced on March 31, 2011, the sjob.q's maximum allowed job running time has been changed from 1 hour to 8 hours:

http://www.hgc.jp/english/news/2011/03/notification_of_5.html

There is also another queue called night.q whose maximum allowed job running time is the same of the sjobs.q,
but only available during night hours.
Here is an example that submits a job to the queue, sjob.q or night.q:

$ qsub -l sjob [your script to be executed]

Please note that the queue name will be either sjob.q or night.q depending on the submission time.
(On weekdays between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm, a job goes into the sjob.q, other times the night.q is selected.)

[sjobs.q]
Maximum allocated time: 8 hours
Available slots: 128 (the c nodes) and 176 (the cl nodes)

[night.q]
