HGC's Shirokane2 supercomputer ranks 183rd on new Top 500 List (released in June 18, 2012).
The Rmax rating for Shirokane2 is 100.6 Tflops, it is the fastest supercomputer in the life-science research sector in Japan.
Together with Shirokane1 whose computing power is 54.21 Tflops, the HGC supercomputing system provides its users 154.81 Tflops of the total computational power to support and advance a wide range of life-science research activities.
