NOTICE of system suspension due to Shirokane3 periodical inspection at HGC

Periodical inspection work has been completed at 20:05 on February 18.

Thank you for continuously using the services of HGC. HGC supercomputer system Shirokane3 will be stopped twice in February and March for the periodic inspection.

System shutdown (first time): Feb 17 (Fri) 9:00 AM to 19 (Sun) 13:00 PM
System shutdown (second time): Mar 16 (Thu) 9:00 AM to 19 (Sun) 18:00 PM

Please note that...

login to the computer system and job execution cannot be performed
We will delete the UGE (Univa Grid Engine) job when the periodical inspection commences; therefore, please submit the job again after the inspection
Web services, FTP service and etc. also stop
We may finish the inspection ahead of schedule

The following work with change of usage interval will be carried out in the second periodic inspection.

Change default compiler from Intel compiler to GNU compiler
