NOTICE of system suspension due to SHIROKANE September periodical inspection at HGC

Archive disk failure that occurred during periodic inspection work,
It restored to 21:50 on September 14 and started the service.

Periodical inspection work has been completed at 18:00 on September 14.

Please be aware that a failure has occurred on the archive disk during periodic inspection and can not be used.
We are still conducting investigation and we are carrying out work to resume service.
We will contact you as soon as there is progress.

The supercomputing services will be stopped for periodical inspection.

System shutdown: Sep 12 (Wed) 9:00 AM to Sep 14 (Fri) 18:00 PM

Please note that...

login to the computer system and job execution cannot be performed

We will delete the UGE (Univa Grid Engine) job when the periodical inspection commences

Web services, FTP service and etc. also stop

We may finish the inspection ahead of schedule
