NOTICE of system suspension due to SHIROKANE periodical inspection at HGC

Second time periodical inspection work has been completed at 16:00 on March 25.

First time periodical inspection work has been completed at 20:35 on February 23.

Thank you for continuously using the services of HGC. HGC supercomputer system SHIROKANE will be stopped twice in February and March for the periodic inspection.

System shutdown (first time): Feb 22 (Fri) 13:00 PM to 24 (Sun) 18:00 PM

System shutdown (second time): Mar 21 (Thu) 9:00 AM to 25 (Mon) 18:00 PM

Please note that...

login to the computer system and job execution cannot be performed

We will delete the UGE (Univa Grid Engine) job when the periodical inspection commences

Web services, FTP service and etc. also stop

We may finish the inspection ahead of schedule
