NVIDIA Parabricks, a genome data analysis software, is now available

Fast GPU-based primary whole genome analysis on some of SHIROKANE's computation nodes
The NVIDIA Parabricks pipeline is now available. Users with a compute node running Tesla V100 will be able to use Parabricks at no additional charge for Parabricks.

Parabricks' use case with SHIROKANE resulted in a 5X improvement in analysis speed.

How to use the Parabricks pipeline

Parabricks runs on a GPU compute node that has Tesla V100 on it.
This can be used if you have a GPU V100 in your course. GPU V100's
The GPUs can be increased with additional options. Parabricks of SHIROKANE
is at its highest performance when the GPU V100 has 8 units.
